Dr. Commuri is a Professor in electrical and biomedical engineering at the University of Nevada at Reno. He holds a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur and a PhD from the University of Texas, Arlington.  He has served as the Editor-at-Large of the InternationalJournal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems and on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks. In 2015 he was selected ENR Top 25 Newsmakers in the country for his contributions towards Intelligent Compaction.
