To correctly determine a set of performance specification values, conflicting design parameter values are coordinated to make them have balanced performance specification values. This paper proposes a conflict coordination method based on game theory to determine the value of performance indicators. Based on constraint satisfaction problem solving and sensitivity analysis, a new method is proposed to identify the conflict between design parameters and performance specifications. In the determined conflict design parameters, a coordination model based on game theory is established to set the conflict design parameters most reasonably to obtain a balanced performance specification. The coordination model includes non-cooperative and master-slave game mechanisms and is solved by a hybrid game balance algorithm based on elite information exchange strategy and NSGA-II. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method in the design field are verified by an example of dynamic parameter optimization of high-speed train bogie.
